We’re delighted to be part of Skye Live’s line-up for this year, taking place at the Lump in Portree, Isle of Skye – a wee home gig for Eilidh. We’re very lucky to be joined by Ross Martin of Dàimh on guitar for the day, and we can’t wait for our first festival gig!

You can catch us on Saturday the 23rd: tickets available here, or from the Skye Music Shop in Portree. 1 week to go!

BLAS 2017

Deagh naidheachd – we’ve been asked back to Blas 2017! We’re very excited to play a couple of gigs as part of the Highland festival, kicking off in Golspie Inn (2nd September) alongside Mackenzie & MacIsaac, and then in Inverness (3rd September) with the Inverness and Dingwall Gaelic Choirs. We can’t wait, and looking forward to have Innes White playing alongside us again!

More exciting news on the way soon…

West End Fest 2017

What a beauuutiful venue for a lovely SIAN gig alongside Margaret Stewart and Kathleen MacInnes last night at ‘Binneas nam Ban’, an An Lòchran project put together for West End Fest 2017 and celebrating the songs of Gaelic bardesses past and present.

We also had the pleasure of having our photos taken in the morning by Martin Venherm: needless to say the good old west coast wind was playing up, but we had so much fun and we’re delighted with the results anyway!

Fun fun fun, and more news coming soon… x

Celtic Connections 2017

We’ve been busy busy arranging some new songs for CC 2017, and we were delighted to perform them in the National Piping Centre to a lovely crowd in Glasgow last night. Thanks so much to everyone for coming out to see us, and a big thanks to Innes White, Ross Martin and Eilidh Shaw for accompanying us! Ceitlin certainly rocked it anyway…
